10 reasons why you should visit a MUSEUM!

Our very own public relations officer, Terri Li, gave us the run down of her specialty, museums. She presented to us the history, facts, and spoke about some of our own modern day museums.

To be perfectly honest, when I think of a museum, I often times think of boring old artwork on a wall for people to stare at. Generally, I'm more amazing at the price than I am at the artwork itself.

However, what I learned from Terri and even during table topics session is that each piece of artwork truly does have a story behind it. That story brings out the worth of what people would normally see as just different colors put together.

In general, museums hold a sentimental value that involves a sense of history, a story behind it all that we often times take for granted given how we're always looking for a quick fix of endorphins.

I realized that museums are indeed something to be appreciated by us. I'm looking forward to the next one I get to visit. Take a step back, and learn something new!
