PRESIDENT
80% of success is showing up to club meetings and setting a good example by participating and giving speeches. The other 20% is keeping the club on track by leading officer meetings, and collaborating with officers/members to complete the club success plan and achieve goals. It’s an opportunity to gain leadership experience and add some legit skills to your resume in a supportive environment. Having a hard time picturing how it would actually look on your resume?
VP OF EDUCATION
He/She manages the club’s educational programs, including the mentorship program. He/She is the easy-speak administrator, scheduling meetings and speeches to ensure rolls are filled. He/She also submit members’ achievements in Toastmasters.org and recognizes members. This person will lead in planning the club’s spring speech contest.

vp of membership
This person works on retaining current members as well as gaining new members. He/She is the admin of the [email protected] email, responding to guests and potential members. He/She also submit new member applications to Toastmasters International and works with the VP of Education to onboard new members and recognize achievements.

vp of public relations
He/She creates and maintains the club’s image and social media presence; promoting meetings to attract guests, executing PR campaigns, and creating material for guests and new members. This person is the admin of the club’s Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Eventbrite pages.

treasurer
Manages and forecasts the club’s finances, collects dues, pays bills, and submits tax documents. This person is the admin of the club’s checking and savings accounts.

Secretary
Manages all record keeping and club materials. He/She updates records on Toastmasters.org, such as officer and membership roosters. He/She also keeps the minutes for officer meetings.

SERGEANT AT ARMS
Opens the meeting and ensures the proper material are brought and helps to find meeting locations when needed.
The goal of Sgt at Arms is to ensure that the club has all the proper needs before beginning the meeting and during the meeting. They are also responsible for cleaning up after the club is dismissed.
